Protective joint against excessive pressure or surge pressure
| What is the surge pressure ? | When a surge pressure occurs, the peak value may be several times the normal pressure. (More than five times in case of injection molding machines) Surge pressure exceeding the allowable pressure may cause the sensor to break down. |

| Countermeasure | 1. Generally, a "damper (fitting for reducing pulsation pressure)" sold by pressure meter suppliers is used. 2. When combined with VALCOM pressure sensors, a conversion adapter with orifice "J2 Joint" may be used. (See table above.)
